The Stokes'boundary value problem of flow around a rectangular plate

The Stokes flow of viscous incompressible fluid outside a rectangular plate is considered. The boundary problem is reduced to a two-demensional Fredholm equation of the first kind on surface of the plate by harmonic potential theory. Solving the integral equation by numerical methods the unknown density has been presented by means of orthogonal system of trigonometrical functions. The features of streamlines of the flow depend upon geometrical ratio of plate's parameters have been illustrated.
