Internal waves behind the local disturbance due to its weak non-stationary movement in stratified fluid with finite depth

Proposed is a method of constructing an asymptotic field of the internal waves following the local disturbance moving in a weakly nonstationary regime an large Froude number. The method is based on the use of the locally two-dimensional character of evolution of the internal waves field following the uniformy movable local disturbance as well as on the use of the methods of the geometrical optics for the expansion of wave rays in horizontally homogeneous mediums. The use of the method is demonstrated in terms of an ovoid body moving in the nonstationary regime in a three-layered stratified medium.
