A three-dimensional problem on forced resonant vibrations and dissipative heating of a hollow cone of viscoelastic material

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 16 ¹ 3, (2013-2014) p.15-22
On the base of a concept of complex characteristics, a coupled boundary problem on forced harmonic vibrations and dissipative heating of a viscoelastic conical panel under the action of normal external pressure is formulated. To solve this problem, a method of finite elements was used. The effect of mechanical boundary conditions on such fundamental characteristics as the dependencies of amplitude and temperature of dissipative heating on frequency is studied.
