On one model for aeroacoustics of viscous compressible gas. Part I. Analysis of existing models, deducing of resolving system of equations

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 16 ¹ 2, (2013-2014) p.18-30
The paper deals with analyzing of existing models for sound generated by a flow classified within two directions: 1) Lighthill's acoustical analogy and its development; 2) Blokhintsev's approach and its use for aerodynamic sound simulation. The contemporary state of affairs in this branch of acoustics is characterized and unsolved problems are outlined. A model for separation of aerodynamically generated sound based on applying of the Cauchy-Helmholtz theorem is offered as one of the possible ways to solve these problems. Its implementation allows the obtaining of closed system of three equations for sound generation by a viscous non-stationary heat-conducting flow.
