On one numerical-analytical approach to solving of a problem on sound generation by a thin wing. Part II. A schematic of application to non-stationary problems

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 15 ¹ 3, (2012) p.45-52
The numerical schemes for solving of equation of propagation of small disturbances are analyzed. Their features, benefits and drawbacks are shown. It is noted that the mixed schemes, where time variable is not separated from spatial ones, but is included to common computation molecule, allow more accurate accounting of peculiarities of solving of the problems with fast changing flow parameters. Further development of the numerically-analytical approach for non-stationary acoustical problems is given as an example of application of such scheme. On its base, a numerical computation of the problem on sound generation by the unsteady flow around the thin wing (screw blade) is carried out for different kinematic and geometrical parameters.
