| The paper deals with analyzing the features of a resonance on the inhomogeneous waves at frequencies for which the SV-wave is a propagating one, while the P-wave is nonpropagating. We have managed to explain the occurrence of such complex motion as the edge resonance is on the base of reflection properties of plane elastic waves at the free boundary of elastic body. The efficiency of edge resonance exhibition and the corresponding eigen-frequency have been shown to significantly depend on the Poisson's ratio. |
