| A problem on propagation and transformation of discontinuous wave fronts in transversally isotropic heterogeneous elastic media has been considered. The technique for construction of the evolving system of rays and fronts has been proposed. Formation of the caustic-type geometric singularities has been investigated for various values of anisotropy and heterogeneity parameters of the elastic medium. |
