| The paper deals with experimental investigation of the near field of axially-symmetric hydrodynamic radiator with a hydrostatic pressure in a hermetic tank. The cavitational activity in the near field was studied experimentally by erosion of test specimens. It is shown that the specific characteristics of erosion increase with the hydrostatic pressure in geometric progression. The theoretical results are compared with experimental ones. |
