On one exact method of estimating the acoustical properties of noise-suppressing barriers

A problem of sound scattering on the noise reduction barrier is solved and an efficient algorithm for numerical analyzing the sound field in the illuminated, transitive, and shadow zones is developed by the method of partial domains. The sound field is computed far from and near the barrier in a wide frequency range and at different displacement of the source with respect to the barrier. Two examples of the barrier efficiency estimation are considered, being interesting from the practical point of view.
