| A technique for calculation of distance between long-time averaged spectra of musical compositions performed by orchestra is presented. As it was shown on an example of a sample list formed by musical compositions belonging to different genres, such characteristics reflect the timbre similarity degree of the performed music. Obtained results may serve the objective support when arguing on generalized sound resemblance of different musical compositions. |
