Modeling of mechanical reaction for a cylinder of viscoelastic biotissue at harmonic excitation under the conditions of complete adhesion with a vibrator

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 7 ¹ 2, (2004) p.65-71
A problem on harmonic vibrations of a visco-elastic cylinder with properties close to that of the biotissues is solved. At that the cylinder's faces were considered to be completely adhering to the vibrator, while its lateral surface is free. The solution of the problem was developed in form of the Fourier series with coefficients derived from the infinite algebraic system generated by the boundary conditions. The analysis of frequency behavior for cylinder's mechanical impedance allowed to estimate the degree of the boundary conditions influence on the object's integral characteristics.
