Acoustic ray reflection and refraction on moving media interface

Acoustic bulletin, Vol. 7 ¹ 2, (2004) p.36-41
The influence of plane fluid-gas boundary motion on the acoustic wave reflection and refraction is studied. The analytical dependencies genaralizing the known reflection and refraction laws for dynamic conditions are obtained. It is shown that the motion of the plane interface along its normal changes the parameters of reflected and refracted waves: the frequency and the reflection and refraction angles. In the case of the unsteady interface motion these parameters depend on time.
