Increasing of sensitivity of discriminate signs of a crack in problems of vibroacoustical diagnostics of rotary system elements

In order to increase the sensitivity of amplitude discriminates serving the fault features for vibroacoustical diagnosis of fatigue cracks in the elements of rotary systems a preliminary wavelet decomposition of measured acoustical signal is used. The effectiveness of the two-level processing of acoustic signal, radiated by the imitator of rotary system at stationary and non-stationary regimes of operation, for diagnosis of fatigue crack is shown.
