Hydrodynamical characteristics of electric discharge in liquid under energy supplied in a channel in form of repeating pulses

An external hydrodynamical problem of electric discharge in water is considered when energy is supplied in the cylindrical channel as a sequence of pulses. Corresponding initial-boundary problem with moving boundary for the wave equation is formulated. The analytical solution of the problem is obtained by the method of nonlinear transformation of a time. The influence of imposing of small pulsations on the linear law of growth of the channel's radius is shown. Peculiarities of hydrodynamical characteristics of the electric discharge are revealed.
