On problem about reflection of the first symmetric normal wave from clamped end-wall of a half-strip

By method of superpositions there was held the analysis of near zone of wave field in half-strip with free side surfaces and clamped end-wall. The account of tension singularity arising in the point of change of type of boundary condition allowed to develop the algorithm for adequate description of the near field structure. The numerical analysis has shown that evanescent waves plays the essential role in the near zone. On the contrary to half-strip with free end-wall there were not detected any resonant effects for evanescent waves. Also the effect of unload of middle plane in dependence of frequency and order of tension singularity were analyzed.
