Sound scattering caused by temperature inhomogeneities in a wake past the cylinder

The paper deals with studying of sound wave scattering by the temperature inhomogeneities in wake behind the cylinder. Scattering past the weak heated and heat-insulated cylinders has been studied. The problem is solved in the Born approximation and geometrical optics approximation. The relations between the sound scattering characteristics and thermodynamic and kinematical flow parameters have been obtained.
